The Houthis are not a rag-tag bunch of rebels anymore. They are the new #1 Iranian-sponsored threat in the Middle East (especially since Israel has seriously degraded Hamas and Hezbollah) and are getting substantial assistance from both Russia and Iran (in return, they are not targeting Russian, Chinese, and Iranian shipping). They’ve used this information and technology to sink two ships and shoot down a number of drones. And the Red Sea and BaM are a terrible place to operate, with little room to maneuver and with land and air threats on both sides. But our sailors have done an amazing job so far. And the Houthi’s days are numbered.
