Hi folks,

Was wondering about making a modernised USS IOWA (Pontos with Tamiya). I am aware the 16" turrets on the Tamiya 1/350 IOWAs (Big J and Mighty Mo) are 11% overscale. Have Tamiya by chance resized the turrets on the BB63 1991 Gulf War rebox? Or just used same tooling?

Lastly, I am aware Modelmonkey makes a correctly scaled replacement. Does somebody also 3d-print smaller barbettes so these can be fitted to the Tamiya kits?
