Since the models are waterline the "water" only needs to be a couple of mm's deep. I usually use Celluclay for the water, painted, then covered with several layers of Acrylic modelling paste for waves, ship's wake, etc. While the acrylic is still damp, press the model into it. When the acrylic hardens it will hold the model like glue! Previous Message
Good evening all. Those that do the listed displays, do you use Celluclay, Das Clay, or what on your base? Also if you use over a foam board (hobby foam or insulation foam) do you cut slits or poke holes into the board to help it adhere to the foam? Thanks.
