I have just received my 1:700-scale USS Midway 1945 from the same manufacturer - Cheng Feng 3D (not the eBay seller). With reference to issues/advantages cited earlier:

Lurid orange resin - Yes
Engraved flight deck markings - Yes
Flight deck planking - not sure if it's accurate
Printing striations - not visible under 8X magnification
'Soft" detail - Far from it. It's crisper than any injection plastic kit I have other than products from Flyhawk and Yamashita (which match it) and that includes recent offerings from Hasegawa and Fujimi.
Integral printing - Island, guns, masts, directors, side elevator all separate. The rest is one piece.

I do have a 1:700-scale Furious on the way - we'll see what it's like.

I appreciate the concern about so much being printed integrally, especially as I want to turn my Midway into Coral Sea in 1956.
