Reggie Marine made the Washington in resin a few years back which allowed you to build her in any time during her career great big heavy piece of resin. I built it and love it. They also did the North Carolina the same way I have it in my stash to build great kit if you can find it.

The Trumpeter 1/700 Washington BB-56 is of the ship in spring,1942 when the ship was sent to Europe.
The Nov,1942 era was caused by a modernization
in the summer of 1942 at the New York Navy Yard

Trumpeter has a BB-56 kit but not sure what time period. It is an older kit and if like their BB-55 kit might be worth waiting for a new kit. I hope Vee Hobby would do one, as their South Dakota class is very good and their Iowa class looks good (though I have not built their MS or NJ, I own both and like what I see). Previous Message
