Bill- the Skywave versions of the ships were all based on the old Match Box /Revell kits. All three of these shared all the basic moldings for the hull and superstructure components. If interested, I will mail you copies for he various instruction sheets. You can trace the model history and differences compared to the VEE kits which have yet to market an Atlanta/Juneau version with the different superstructure components compared to the San Diegos. The old kits have some parts for that variation. I would only purchase the Vee kits if you have not bought either yet.

Are the basic Vee San Diego/Oakland 1/700!offerings better in accuracy over Skywave? I don’t worry about accessories such as weapons and radars as I replace all with 3D printed. I worry more about accurate dimensions, historical lay out, clear instructions, ease of build etc.
Any opinions/reviews will be greatly appreciated.
