I just received my 1/144 Type IXC Revell U-Boat kit from scale hobbyist. Examining the parts, it is a very beautiful kit. I actually think that it has too much detail. They probably scaled down their 1/72 kit.

By the way, SSN Models of China has announced the release of six 1/144 3d printed submarine kits. There are 4 American WWII submarines and a S and U class British submarines.
