No problem here... just the way it went... it still is an interesting segway...
Maybe Jacques will be able to convince BCM to u undertake the Bearn post 1936 challenge...

If I have hijacked your topic Peter, I apologise, but somehow it just morphed in this direction.
Hi:
Thanks for info Jacques.
As you may remember, I was among the first to support you in this project - all those years ago.
Like others, I do hope that you could use use your family influence with Black Cat Models (BCM) to issue an upgrade kit. Mine is also languishing in the stash for this as well as other reasons. You were kind enough to provide me with some drawings of the missing suspended workshops, I hope to use these when I do launch her.
I do know that BCM are more than willing to re-scale some of of their 1:350 parts to 1:400 upon request and that they have dabbled in this scale with their River class frigates which started this now hijacked post.
Unfortunately, you are correct...business wise it makes more sense to go with 1:350 scale - but this doesn't mean that this scale is totally lacking in support.
I wonder how many firm orders or expressions of Interest BMC would need to consider to undertake this project.
I'm assuming (yes I know this is dangerous) that you have made BMC aware of this conversation and wonder if they could be persuaded to take up the challenge.
Regards
Peter M the WWII Task Force 400 Ship Guy.
