John,
I believe the ELCO factory installed rocket launchers were not used in combat. The boats that were equipped with these arrived in the Pacifc early to mid-summer 1945, too late for combat.
However I do believe the Korean Navy used these rockets for shore bombardment in the Korean conflict. A video of these boats launching rockets can be found on the NARA website.

Hi, i am trying to figure out if the rockets on the late-war ELCO's were ever used in combat? I have been unable to find any pictures or discriptions supporting it, does anyone know anything about the subject?
