I have gone through the 80-G collection at NARA over many years and have only seen one photo of two of the MIDWAY class operating together. This image shows both USS MIDWAY and USS FDR in Spring 1946 working up in a group with USSS PRINCETON SEA.
USS MIDWAY and FDR were both completed in late 1945 (as was USS PRINCETON), so operating together during shakedown was reasonable. Note that both are in the original bridge configuration. USS CORAL SEA completed in 1947 with the initial bridge mods (relocating the Mk 37 director).
In other images during the 1950's, one MIDWAY was generally paired up with one or two ESSEX class carriers in the Atlantic/Med.

The 3 Midway class carriers for about 10years after
they were built operated in the Atlantic fleet out of Norfolk Va . Did they sail together and has any one seen photos of them at Norfolk Navy Yard moored together?
