I've never had to do a UV treatment with Bunker Studio parts.
thank you for the prompt and informative response. I have a couple of fallow up questions: with the Tamiya primer, is this an acrylic or lacquer base? I haven't had any luck with rattle cans. Can acrylic or lacquer paint be used rather than primer?
And how long do you expose the parts to UV light? I have two UV pen lights are these sufficient? There hasn't beeb much sunlight here lately.
Almost forgot - follow manufacturer's directions regarding complete curing of the resin. You may have to cure with UV light, or direct sunlight.
If I really think it necessary, I soak in dish detergent/water, rinse, and let air dry overnight. When dry, I prime with hobby primer. If small parts, I brush paint with hobby acrylics.
Been meaning to ask same question-best cleaning, primer and acrylic paint to use to avoid lift off when masking. Mostly using Kraken/Model Monkey/Shapeways Parts. Look forward to responses.
