2. A flush cutter such as Plato 170 Electrican cutters or the Fujiya cutters on Micromark.
3 Ophthalmologist’s scissors on Amazon (razor sharp). Usually very long grip, very narrow cutters.
4. Option (see below)
What damages any fragile 3D part is the shock of the cut and you lose detail.
A decent hobby hot knife has multiple interchangeable heads with the best having a heated needle point fitting and you target the sprue slowly and with patience..
The cutters should be slow in squeeze, give a flush cut and be razor sharp.
You final option …watch what you are buying. I usually don’t do a return purchase on a printer who has to have an attachment point at every delicate feature. I usually purchase 3D parts where the attachment points are smartly placed. Does not make sense to me to buy the latest 3D print with all the bells and whistles in detail and you lose the detail in cuts. Money wasted.
Is There a hot knife maybe MICRO to cut off 3d parts. Very small delicate parts without the snap of the cutter to break the little part. Hot cutters maybe, please any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you, jimmy.
