The main challenge so far has been the ammo racks on the inside of the gun tub. The racks are PE with very shallow tabs into very shallow slots which just don't hold well enough. I bit the bullet and glued a little piece of Evergreen strip just below each of the slots as in the photo. I then put a tiny drop of Gorilla Super Glue (blue bottle) on each brace and while holding the PE in place put on a drop of accelerator to hold it. (I filed the PE tabs off first) I had glued the segments of the ring of plates together, strengthened the joints with braces, and attached the outer ring of wire. If I had it to do again I would probably try to do the ammo racks first.
Also, my experience has been that the locating pins and ridges on many plastic parts were more of a hindrance than help and cut most of them off. The sequence of instructions seems well thought out and I have followed most of them, building many sub assemblies then bringing them together.
I hope someone makes figures posed for this model.
Thanks, John
