Mike Starmer has self-published a book on British camouflage in North Africa, which IIRC includes a chip of Desert Pink, and his mixes used to recreate it from standard paints. But you mentioned Liberators.
If the USAAF had requested paint supplies suitable for aircraft in the ME, then the colours in use by the British were Dark Earth and Middle Stone.
A color used by British forces on armor in North Africa, WWll.
Was there any real colour called "Desert Pink"? Not in any of the USAAF colour sets I've seen - or at least remember). As said elsewhere in this thread - Sand. Unless you, or someone else, demonstrates its existence other than anecdotally.
"Sand" is not "Desert Pink".

Maybe state which in context you want Desert Pink. British had at least two shades of Desert Pink in North Africa, WWll - one was very flesh color. The RN had a "Mountbatten Pink" which wasn't really pink at all, but more of a mauve. Then there is the LRDPV Desert Pink (Pink Panther desert Land Rover). LOTS of different shades of "Desert Pink"!
I know this is a naval site, but what current model paint manufacture makes the best and most accurate paint color of Desert Pink? I've searched a lot of places and am not getting any answer. I even Email Wright Patterson museum and received no answer. Any advice anyone? Thank you
