It comes in a dropper bottle, but even a drop is way too much. I simply dip a toothpick in and use that to spread the lubricant on the needle. I only occasionally lubricate the trigger mechanism. The toothpick means much less than a drop is used, and frankly even a single drop would be way too much; you just need a very thin film on the needle.
After putting the lubricant on, I work the needle back and forth 5-6 times. The action is much easier after, and wear on the needle’s Teflon seal is reduced. Lubricant is inexpensive, your airbrush and parts aren’t.
Hi everyone. I just have some generic modeling questions I want to throw out there so here goes:
1) When you use PE screws/props do you paint them brass or leave them in natural brass and mount them?
2) When cleaning your airbrushes, do you lubricate the needle every time say between colors or just periodically.
3) What do you use to replicate refueling hoses in 1/350 scale? I was thinking soft solder but do not know what diameter to use in this scale.
Appreciate the time to ask these. Hope everyone has a good night and thanks.
