So, scrolling a short way down this page will produce the earliest image of Calypso as herself (not a minesweeper or ferry, in other words.) Don't know the date, possibly 1950 when he first got her:

Next, scroll about 12 images down, and note the broadside view of Calypso. This is her "next evolution." Note two things: 1) her funnel is amidship, and 2) the deck house at bridge level does not extend back that far. Guessing late 1950s, or perhaps very early 1960s:

Next is dated 1959. Note the upper bridge deck house now extends farther aft, and the funnel now sits atop it:

Next, I am reposting the image of her sailing past the Statue of Liberty. Compare her with the above image. Note that the bull works have been extended further aft from the bow, now passing under the forward part of the bridge. In the previous link just above, the bull works terminate before reaching under the bridge. This is after 1959, and before the bridge windows change in 1966:

Next is an image of her with the bow helicopter platform, six images down. Her bridge windows have changed:

This next link is a treasure trove of images of her, including an overhead of her with the bow helicopter platform in the Antarctic in 1972/73:

Note also in the overhead Antarctic view that the position of her funnel has changed! It no longer sits atop the bridge/deck house (compare the helo deck image with the one directly below it.) It now sits just aft of that upper deck house. This is the configuration she will be in until the end, and is the configuration of the classic Revell kit. It is also in this "aft funnel" version which she has her permanent amidships helo platform added at a later date. This relocation of the funnel marks the most distinct change in her. It is the turning point between earlier and later fits. The Gaga kit is of Calyso with the midship funnel. The Revell kit is of her after it is moved aft.
You've learned the bridge windows changed in 1966. These images show she was in the Antarctic in 1972 with the funnel moved aft, new bridge windows, and the bow helo platform. I suspect (but have no proof) that the bridge windows and funnel move both happened together in 1966. The helo platform was fitted for the Antarctic expedition, then removed. However, Cousteau found a helo very useful, so added the permanent one amidships, aft the (recently relocated) funnel. Probably that happened in the mid to late 1970s.
There's my links, FWIW.
Oh, yes, I had looked mainly at the forward hull, which did not fit to the Hughes. It is true, there is a fenestron.
I am looking forward to the links you have found!
