I'm about 75% of the way through my build of this lovely model, but have a question for the Atlanta class experts out there. VeryFire shows what look like a pair of practice Bofors mounts beneath the overhanging quad 1.1-in. AA tub just forward of the last three 5-in. dual mounts. Those can't be accurate, since the Atlanta was never fitted with Bofors guns prior to her loss; these seem reasonable for a later class ship such as the USS San Diego. Should I just omit them from my build? I've already omitted the long booms and their masts that the kit (with its deluxe version) includes, supposedly located beneath the port and starboard 1.1-in. quad tubs, but missing from all the photos of the ship I've found.
