I have that kit (from many years ago.) That is not a DSRV (Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle.) It is an ASDS (Advanced SEAL Delivery System.) One does rescue. The other was for SEAL work, but production got canceled.
ASDS:

Yes, both kits--and their respective vehicles--are long out of production, and hard to find. Making Shapeways the better current/immediate choice. Previous Message
Skywave offered one in their release of the 1/700 camouflaged Virginia. Both kits are extremely rare to find. Shapeways offering readily available. Previous Message
JAG did a 1/700 USS Sturgeon and DSRV in resin a number of years ago, that were based on the OKB Grigorov kit.

Hello Steve,
In 1/700 there are no DSRV docking decals for a submarine hull, nor hull #’s for sail or depth decals for bow or planes. Understandable considering the differences in submarine hulls. As stated below active fleet boats have these markings removed and are only used during acceptance trials.
I am impressed you did decals for the two DSRVs in 1/700. The only 1/700 DSRVs are found on Shapeways. Previous Message
I have begun to draft 1:700 decals for my own purposes (mostly modern US and European subjects). I would have to say that mine are more accurate than the vast majority of kits on the market. However I still outsource the printing.
Which DSRV are you interested in? I may be able to include these tiny decals in my next batch of printing.
