This is a fun thread, seeing what we all remember from our well-spent youth. (Better models than the pinball machines!)

I recall my first model was a F-105 gifted by a friend of my parents, which I eventually ruined with my woodburning kit.

The first I recall building and still have is Lindberg's LSU. My grandmother or grandfather bought it at the local drugstore, and then a bottle of red fingernail paint for the anti-fouling paint. It's in parts in a bag, and I was going to rebuilt it properly, but I think I'm simply going to glue it back together so it looks pretty much as I made it.
