Interestingly, the ship used to explore again the carrier wrecks is EV Nautilus ex Alexander von Humboldt ex Georgius Agricola. Originally built in 1967 as research vessel for the GDR and served as research vessel in Germany until 2004 - and since 2009 is serving for Ocean Exploration Trust.
