The image isn’t the best, but the air search radar appears to be a SA radar. Whether the radar was updated would take additional research. Depending on where the Tacoma class units operated and their mission (some became weather stations), could indicate which radar was initially installed and upgrades.

Hello, I have a question about Tacoma Frigates. What radar was used atop the foremast, like as seen in this photo of the USS Tacoma PF-3 in the link below, and whether there had been changes to the radar configuration in the later stage. Thank you.
