I looked up Midnight Blue color just now. Unfortunately it is a deep blue and not a purple blue the USN used. It's a unique hue...

Saw this at the store today; Rust-oleum, Painters touch, in satin, 'Midnight Blue'.
Just might work for 5N . . . maybe.
