The section on battleship unit colors in the late-20s took a couple of reads to digest. The color plates with float colors, division marks, and second unit bands was instructive and helpful The colorful period up to and including the standardization of tail colors, chevron and cowl colors, and the like in the 30s is covered. This is a must-have for models of the battleship and cruiser forces of the 20s and thirtys.
