The Wiki article (by no means completely descriptive) does mention that after 1 hour of battle, 2/3 of the AA guns (which includes the 10.5cm) were out of action.

I am asking about the GRAF SPEE's 4.1" guns. Were they involved in the surface action and if so, did they score any hits?

According to all I have read about River Plate, Graf Spee's 5.9" guns made absolutely no hits. I don't know about hits by the British 4" guns. Previous Message
Hello all,
A question I'd like the experts on this board to answer; during the River Plate battle, I know that GRAF SPEE's main battery did virtually all of the damage, with the secondary 5.9" guns not doing that well. My question...did the British cruisers ever approach close enough for the 4.1" guns to engage them and if so, did those guns score any hits or were they silent throughout the battle?
