I am reminded of something a model company executive said years ago that he would rather have five percent of the Spitfire/Mustang/Me-109 market than ninety five percent of the B-23 market. Iowas, Bismarcks, and Titanics are the Spitfires, Mustangs, Me-109s of the ship model world.

The Trumpeter and Hobby Boss sites have released their updates for May 2023. They include a Trumpeter 1/700 Missouri and a Hobby Boss 1/350 Iowa, both WWII configuration. Seems like they're jumping into subject matter already well covered, and I don't remember seeing the Missouri in their 2023 catalogue.
