The R/V Petrel, the ship famously associated with the late Paul Allen and involved in numerous historical shipwreck discoveries has herself been involved in an incident at Dales Marine dockyard in Leith, Edinburgh resulting in multiple injuries. We're experiencing high winds in Scotland at the moment and this morning Petrel dislodged from her supports in drydock and has toppled over. Emergency services are on the scene.
