I'm more miffed by the politicians naming carriers for other politicians rather than using traditional carrier names.

While I will somewhat tongue-in-cheek point out that women are hardly "numerically insubstantial," I do believe that these efforts aren't actually an indication that they care about those groups. Instead, they are a virtue signal so that the "substantial" number of people who want to believe they're helping by "right think" will vote for them. When the naming of navy ships changed to politicians it said so much about the state of our principles.
OK, back to non-politics posting for me....
