From the other side of the pond I find your arguments "interesting" If Bragg, Hood, etc where rebels and traitors, then logically Washington, must be the biggest traitor. The only person who wasn't would be Benedict Arnold. Very much a case of as Blackthorne says in Shogun, you are only a rebel or traitor if you loose! Or as they would put it now one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, it depends on your point of view. Cannot change the past, and you should acknowledge that if even if people fought for what is now seen as a dubious cause that they where still brave people.
