To be fair, both destroyers turned in front of Melbourne and killed themselves. Voyager in particular was commanded by a known drunk whom the RAN should have removed years earlier, and even today they still will not admit their culpability.

Back in the early 1970's the Melbourne made a visit to Adelaide (Pt. Adelaide) during Navy Week.

I remember being lifted up into the Cockpit of an A4 Skyhawk. We were allowed to visit the hangar and Flight decks being transported by one of the lifts.

I can't remember the flight deck being green in parts though.

It was great! But later I understood she killed off two DD's - Voyager and Frank E. Evans.
