Well, I had purchased these...... 
...they come from 'FiveStar', they worked Great, but had some difficulty with the 'Zeros', and never did 'fill in' the canopies.
But, Thanks "TOC" for the other brand!

Buddy- I don't know if it'll help in your case, but Flyhawk has released PE canopy frames among other parts on the fret for IJN aircraft. I can't speak to availability for other navies, so.... but these are a dream !! Just file or snip off the canopy.
I then used clear parts cement to fill in the frames with "glass". Check around. Like anything else, if it's available ? You'll find it on e*bay....
I am about to use a Flyhawk set on my 1:700 E13A1 Jakes that'll go aboard IJN HAYASUI.

BOY, Who came up with the idea of making clear plastic planes??
And How do you paint them?? I getting ready to prime them, But, if I remember, I heard that you would paint them an interior color firs ( the whole plane? ) then paint the base color of the plane.
OH, I deal with 1/700 planes.
