Don't know if it's the editing for entertainment purposes, the new culture of the RN, or maybe I'm just away from the US Navy too long, but the casualness of the bridge watch is a bit surprising. The apparent distraction or un-seriousness during flight ops, RAS, and during the contested freedom of navigation exercise is shocking to me. I never served under a CO that would have tolerated such a loosie-goosie operation.
