On September 3, 1941 Arizona welcomed aboard the following camera party to photograph and film flight operations while at sea. I believe this was the very first flight's of these planes wearing the two toned paint scheme.


Some photos of this trip at sea still exist including these.






This one photo had me convinced that there must be film footage of this trip as well. Here you can see a motion picture camera on a tripod.



After searching high and low for this footage, I've finally found some initial footage of it. Unfortunately it is typical quality of NARA's copying but it is still pretty interesting to see it. I'm convinced now there is more to find and a better version of this one exists as well.
