I got a USS Brooke , a DEG. That's the old Monogram kit in 1/3?? (bigger than 1/350 scale). Thank gosh there is Shapeways. The 5' gun, gun/missile director, and radar system get replaced. That Sea Sprite helicopter gets new blades and will be detailed. I'll use 1/350 photo etch for the ship's railing; 93% of scale is A- in a grade.
I like the EAS. If you play the game right it's fair, not great but fair.
BTW, I'm really like Facebook's various model dealers. I got a Dragon 1/350 Spruance with the VLS system for a reasonable price.
