Repeated process for the deck atop the after deck house, except that covered the entire upper deck house, so I did not clean up any excess. Just pressed PE deck onto plastic deck house. I have little experience with PE, and even less with the new glue, so I started simple! Also pressed a plastic deck piece down into a spot of the glue on the plastic deck to try plastic-on-plastic. Got nice strong bonds for all.
Folded the forward gun shield up, then applied some glue to the parts of the piece making contact with the gun, put the barrel through the hole. Let it dry. Stuck on okay. Installed gun on deck.
So, I have not tried to assemble any PE with it, nor even stand something thin on end in it to see if it will stay on end, or fall over. Have just "mashed" flat PE pieces to the deck. (Caveman technique...??)
I am in an infant stage with this. However, it has gotten me to work more with PE. I have applied a very few other other PE parts to some of my resin kits with CA glue in the past, and this has so far been the pleasantest expierence I have had with both PE and glue. It has "made me brave." I actually want to try more PE now. Never ever had that feeling before!!
After I get further along, I might have a different answer. I hope not. I would like to not eternally avoid PE. Previous Message
I purchased some Regular and Thin blends. Often it works well but I am struggling with consistent good results. The best results are pre-assembling the parts and then using a brush to apply the glue, but this is not always possible. Applying glue before assembly is hit-or-miss for me. Sometimes it seems to start to dry before I can get the parts together, leaving a glob that needs to be removed.
