25mm is definitely parked, the bottom one looks like one of the new high tech, high temp coatings.

Thanks. I forgotten the term parkerizing.
There seems to be a dividing line. Here is a modern 25mm chain gun. The barrel is parkerized (I think). It's definitely not painted.
Here is a set of 57mm guns. One has a painted barrel shroud, the other is bare metal.
But the good, old 5" weapon is painted
