I concur. I have all five volumes and they span the entire lifetime of the Tirpitz. Volume I covers October 1936 - May 1941, volume II May 1941 - January 1942, Volume III January 1942 - July 1942, Volume IV July 1942 - March 1943 and volume V March 1943 - November 1944. Each volume contains between 300 and 500+ illustrations, ranging from photographs, maps, camouflage drawings to 3D-renderings. The captions are both in English and in German. It is by far the best and most extensive source on Tirpitz you could possibly wish for.

I bought Volume 1 a few years ago. This is a formidable compilation of hundredth of photographs, some of them very rare/ never seen before, showing onboard details as well as general views.
Each picture comes with often extensive legend with plenty of useful infos.
Some two-page colour renderings included.
