I have used Gator's Grip Hobby glue for years. In my opinion it is the best glue out there. "Would you use it on a plastic model?" Once, years ago, I was building the 350 scale Titanic which is a horrible kit. The deck vents had to literally be drilled and carved out of plastic chunks. I was using Testor's liquid glue to start with, but in trying to get all the decks glued in, I spilled liquid glue down the opposite side of the hull. It ate so much of the hull surface that I had to buy another kit just to get the hull parts and decks again This time I used Gator's Grip regular strength and it worked great. Not only did it hold the plastic parts together well, any excess glue dried clear and flat which is to say it just flat disappeared! After using Gator's Grip I wouldn't use anything else for PE and most other assembly. Also, they make a thin version that is superb for rigging. And no, I don't work for them or get commissions - just a very satisfied user. And yes during that period when he temporarily went out of business I was pretty bummed about it. What a relief when he went back in business!
