The German U-boat kit is well engineered, accurate, simple and a pleasure.

The Mikro-Mir Monitor is just like the Russian Army, shabby & was made incompetently.

However, to really torture myself I'm still converting that 1/38? scale Lindberg HMS Hood to a 1/350 HMS Glorious. I had to add a plug to make the model the correct length, built up the hull height. added 7mm in height to the bow to give it the correct sheer,and am taking a really cruddy set of plans from Ebay in 1/400 to make a 1/350 model.
