I bought some recently from the company "Ion Model" that were printed upside-down so that there is a single attachment point on the head, and they were designed so that there is only one single row of figures on the sprue so that access with a nipper is easy. I have not tried them out yet but heartily approve of the concept.

After many many years of building 1/700 ships, I have decided to give a try at figures on a ship model.
I'd like to hear your preferences as to the best 3 dimensional parts. I am not interested in flat PE parts, with paint or glue to thicken them or not.
Some years ago I got a set of Northstar figures and was not impressed, but everything seems to have improved recently.
What is your favorite?
Thanks,
Rick
