Hobby Easy out of Hong Kong. Reliable vendor. 2-4 weeks order confirmation, payment, shipment process. Not bad. Large orders take awhile longer as they will order the quantity for you, then charge you. If light enough all comes by air mail. HK dollar and US dollar exchange excellent right now.

I was using JAG’s 1/700 resin CIWS and then moved over to Fine Mold’s CIWS in 1/700 which were nicely detailed but I thought under scale with a multi-part assembly. And forget Skywave’s offering in what they tried to pass off as a CIWS.
I recently purchased 3D printed MK-15 CIWS with base. Nicely done in detail and better to scale. One piece with the attachment points beneath the base of the CIWS. They do not offer the earlier version of CIWS but do offer their CIWS with base and without.
Next was their Harpoon canisters. Nothing special about anybody’s offering of Harpoon canisters except its mounting frame. The mounting frame was either thick mold injected plastic or photo-etch (which I hated). Wu La provided very delicate 3D printed mounting frame. All one piece and again attachment points beneath. In gray resin.
3D printing is not only making assembly easier but bringing detail to 1/700 that I used to think impossible.
