one up for sale located in Japan (Hasegawa SH-3H) $39.50 plus $20.50 postage. Is $60 too expensive for an apparently hard-to-find* 1/48 scale high quality kit? I would not have thought so, people happily spend hundreds of dollars on inaccurate any scale plastic and resin ships, therefore endorsing the "close enough" approach of these manufacturers.
2 watched in the last 24 hours so if you think it's reasonable don't hesitate too long.
* I have no idea, I'm not looking to buy this particular kit, ever.

Hello all. I have been trying to collect every type of aircraft that was on my '73 to '74 med. cruise on the USS Independence (CV-62) in 1/48 scale. So far I have all with the exception of the SH-3H helo. I know Hasegawa had put one out, but is very hard to fine and I believe is OOP. I looked at the Evil site, but I refuse to pay what they are asking. Does anyone here that tinkers in 1/48 aircraft have one that they would be willing to sell at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance.
