There was considerable rework to the fuselage for the Atlantic flight, sorry I don't recall the details but think it fairly central rather than affecting the entire shape. This was discussed when the kit came out, but that's a long time ago now. I suspect it will be airlt obvious when you compare the kit to the photos of the one you want to make.

Frog kit and its incarnations is the Alcock and Brown Vimy which has a nose wheel or gear, and must be altered to a skid for R & K Smith. All else virtually identicle.
I have been long fascinated by the Vimy flight from England to Australia in 1919.
I am going to model the G-EAOU Vimy in 1:72.
Has there ever been a 1:72 detail set ever made for Vimys ?
There is a company in Australia that makes the G-EAOU decals called RedRoo models, for those that may be interested....
