Foresight Models / Seals Models make a small but interesting range of late Victorian British "built for sale" battleships and armoured cruisers. They include sisters Fuji and Yashima, which were built to an improved "Royal Sovereign" design. The instructions to the Yashima kit show a photo of a built model with smooth sided funnels. These match photos of the 2 ships on their Wiki pages. But the kit itself only includes funels with numerous exaggerated rings moulded around them. I am wondering where the smooth funnels on the model photo in the instructions came from. Are there some resin parts available? They look a lot better than the kit funnels, and they don't appear to be kit funnels with the rings sanded off. My kit is Yashima, BTW, but I think the parts in both kits are identical.
