I've got a couple of kits my good friends Charley Sorensen Steve Tontoni, and Gordon Erickson started or planned to build that I plan to finish.
I have an A-4 that IPMS Seattle club member and friend Jim Schubert had built but we found in a drawer damaged after his passing I'm going to fix up in his memory.
Also have an old Testors 1/48th F-19 stealth fighter that I grabbed when Emil from Skyway Model shop and I went out to hang out with Wally Bigelow for a day when he was in hospice. Need to get the decals done to put his name under the cockpit.

I was just wondering what kits, and why. I've done it three times-
BWN USS Sturgeon as USS Pintado, for my best friend, who was a bubblehead aboard her,
Revell USS Montrose as USS Bosque, for my wife's uncle, who was a radioman aboard Bosque during WW2 and witnessed the surrender ceremonies at Tokyo Bay,
and Arii USS Midway, for my uncle, who served aboard her during Viet Nam (I also served briefly aboard Midway, but after he did).
Sadly, the Midway model was lost during the Camp Wildfire in 2018, which destroyed his home and most of the town of Paradise, where my uncle had retired.
