The detail you provided in your review is very very comprehensive and detailed. I think the photos just supplement the review.
Yes, with just a little manipulation I find the deck pieces fit very snuggly and nicely. You are right, the slide molded pieces are very, very nice and the kit seems to go together like Legos.

I did find that the combined main deckhouse/weatherdeck unit doesn’t sit flush on the deck without a little manual pressure. This is easily rectified by using a modeling knife to scrape the insides of the deckhouse so that they don’t fit so snuggly over the alignment rails molded in relief on the main deck. But a great kit that builds up really, really quickly!
