It occurs to me that as great as photo etch small calibre guns look great (I work in 1:700), the sometimes look too 2-dimensional.
How to counter this ?
I see dipping the barrels into a liquid of some sort. A primer ? Pledge Floor Polish ? A thinned liquid putty ?
Has anyone had success in making photo etch barrels more 3D in appearance ?
