I strongly suspect that--if it is not pantographed down directly--their 1/700 kit will be closely based on this bigger kit.
I further then speculate you will not see anything much beyond the Intrepid, for several reasons. One is that the original ship is around to base plans on, making research easier. Two would be that Intrepid is one of 3 unique ships. She and Hancock and Ticonderoga, of all the SCB-27/125 program ships, have their starboard elevator placed farther aft than any of the others. So, those are the only three ships one could easily produce from a kit of this subject. To do any of the rest requires a major retooling to put the starboard elevator more forward. Three is that Intrepid is also unique in that she got a bow sonar when converted to CVS for ASW. Other carriers that got a bow sonar mod did not have her catapults, nor her elevator configuration.
So, she is practically a "one-off." There's a larger scaled kit easily copied downward, and it is not at all easy to do anything else from her. So, I would not hold my breath for anything else. We can always hope/dream, but I don't see good odds, so would not want to be pumping anyone's hopes up.
