Re: Trumpeter 1/350 HMS Cornwall question
Thanks for that. So the Trumpeter kit can be used as is for action in 1942 in the Indian Ocean? I'm thinking of her dark grey camo schemes'
Happy Thanksgiving! The Cornwall was built in 1928. The configuration your model represents was
after a modernization between 1936-37. When WW2 broke out in 1939 the Cornwall operated with what
she had from that modernization until her loss in 1942.According to my references, this is what she had.
About to start work on the Trumpeter HMS Cornwall 1/350 scale from my stash. Does any of the Royal Navy aficionados on this board know what time period the kit represents? Are the color call outs accurate? Most info on the County Class seems to be on Trumpeters Kent. Maybe I should've gotten the Kent instead, but Cornwall was out first.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
