Re: 350 Dicky from Greyhound
Yes in regards to the bridge. They based these off of RN corvettes, Canadian built had the 2 pounder gun tub aft of the engine room ventilation windows and not aft of the funnel. Check out the Sackville website, it has lots of information.
So the parts in the various kits are actually different? I find that very suprising. Thank you very much
Yes Dicky was Pennyworth( for the most part). Spires is not correct you would have a load of work to fix it to be Dicky. Pennyworth has correct Bridge, just move the mast aft of the bridge and gun tub aft of the engine room ventilation ( long thing that looks like it might have glass windows in it). Someone put up a link to Sackville which the CGI is heavily based on. You will also see looking at the pictures of what I mean by Asdic hut I front of the bridge on Pennyworth has to be brought up( to cover the windows on Pennyworth bridge.
Looking at the box art on Evilbay It looks like the model of Peenyworth has a longer bow that the Spirea.
I want to build Greyhound and Dicky from the movie. I know what I need to do dicky and I have looked into the Flower class in 350. Mirage makes several of them and I adjust wondering if anyone knows which one would be best. I am thinking Spirea.
