Hey Moe, I don't know how you do it - amazing details at any scale let alone 700 scale.
Do you know about the ROKS DOKDO? I'm just starting the Academy version in 700 scale.
I just want to test the ability of 'threading' the FiOp through a wider island and its feasibility.
If I'm not mistaken, aren't the 'whites' on while in port?? Done many a 'Roving Security' while I was a young SA.
As far as the well deck, I do feel that the lights might need to be dimmer, so I plan on using a bit of the 'mounting wax' ( that secures the LEDs w/o gluing it 0 to the VERY Tiny LED....these are 'Z-chip' they are about 0.6mm!!!
BUT Seriously......what about the color?? Does it look right????
nice concept but at night all lights on bridge are switched to "RED" so that people may keep their night vision, this would include Well,Hanger,Flight and main deck areas
Well being back to work is taking some time out of my hobby ( but that is a good thing )....anyways, I do want to show an update on the LST-4001.
I'm feel quite confident in putting lights in my ships, especially with hangers or well decks, but this time I'm putting Fiber Optics (FiOps)into the island!!
So this is the well deck....
With LCACs (thought not built, yet)
to show weathering....
but here is the island, with FiOps...
With overhead light
pic modified to show lights a little better...
Bridge with mica rock...to scatter light, but to simulate equipment/personnel inside...
